The 2025 model year brings notable changes for the Ram 1500's available powertrains. Gone is the V8 Hemi, but replacing it are several V6 options that top out at 546 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque. Buyers can also find a mild hybrid that delivers peak fuel economy of 20 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. The top towing capacity in the lineup is 11,580 pounds, and the top payload capacity is 2,300 pounds.
Every Ram 1500 has an eight-speed automatic transmission. Likewise, there are options for the Ram 1500 to use a rear- or four-wheel drive.
The Ram 1500 also gets a notable facelift for 2025. The sleeker design integrates the headlamps at the corners of the grille. Shallow corner covers host the fog lights.
