Not any major problems. Gas cap was replaced because it was making the check engine come on. Replaced run flat tires with non run flats. Have original brakes. Fit and finish excellent. Bose stereo replaced under warranty because CD would not play.… - 4.0
Still the greatest affordable sportscar ever
By The Prof | on Saturday, December 03, 2011
My car is a 2010 Grand Touring PRHT. It's the 3 rd Miata we've had in the family - one of each generation . It's the most comfortable, best all around model yet. The hardtop reduces unwanted wind noise which our previous versions (including a 1999 with removable hardtop) all suffered from with the top up. The interior is comfortable and the ergonomics are just about perfect. However if you're tall or big, this car won't fit you. The MX-5, like the late Honda S2000, is a car that you have to fit, not the other way around. Unfortunately, I couldn't find this model with a 6 speed manual anywhere. No dealers in the Southeast had a PRHT with manual. The auto though is exceptional - immediate shifts in manual, throtle blip downshifts, etc. Gas mileage is consistent @ 23 mph for mixed driving. The A/C is weak in very hot weather; takes a long time to cool interior. But with heated seats and windows up, one comfortably drive at freeway speeds into the 50s, making it an easy 3 season roadster. All in alll, a superlative car.… - 5.0
Superb

I have read the complaints about the vehicle being cramped and uncomfortable for long journeys. I am 5 foot 12 inches and drove for 600 miles in 3 days and found it very comfortable. The ride is firm but compliant and the seats support very well. The gas pedal may be a bit too close but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Great gas mileage - +30mpg - even when brand new in mixed driving. Boot (truck in the US) is a reasonable size for two. A fun drive; if you want more then you will have to pay more. The MX5 is a great value and well built. I owned the old Issigoni Mini in the UK and so am used to small cars and this is a small car but it feels really good and solid. This is what we Brits intended with the roadster, but we just could not get quite right.…
